Liat Philipson is a Transformational Wisdom Teacher, author, yoga therapist, and the founder of KOL·YA — The Call of Your Soul.
Her work was born through her own journey of awakening.
For many years, Liat lived in a world shaped by achievement, responsibility, and constant movement. With a background in economics, business, finance, and marketing, she knew how to succeed, perform, and meet the expectations placed upon her.
From the outside, everything appeared to be working.
Inside, something was asking for more.
Around the age of thirty, burnout became the first turning point. Her body was asking her to slow down, listen, and reconnect with herself.
Yoga became the first gate.
What began as a physical practice gradually opened a new world. Through the body, breath, movement, and stillness, Liat began to experience a deeper connection to herself and to life.
Then came the divorce of her parents.
That experience shattered everything she thought she knew about family, safety, belonging, and life itself. It reopened a deep wound of abandonment and brought her face to face with emotions and patterns she could no longer ignore.
From that rupture, a much deeper journey began.
Liat began exploring, studying, practicing, and eventually teaching. Her path expanded into Iyengar Yoga, yoga therapy, Reiki, energy healing, consciousness work, the subconscious mind, and transformational healing.
Over the years, she came to understand that physical symptoms, emotional pain, relationships, and recurring life patterns are rarely separate. They are connected dots — expressions of deeper beliefs, memories, and vibrations held within us.
When we begin to connect those dots, the whole picture becomes visible.
Several years ago, during a deep meditation into the Akashic Records, the name KOL·YA came to her.
It was received rather than created.
KOL·YA means The Call of Your Soul — the voice of the Divine essence already living within you.
Today, Liat guides women through private Soul Sessions, circles, teachings, retreats, writing, meditation, and embodied practices. She helps women connect the dots of their lives, understand what their experiences are revealing, and return to the truth of who they are.
Her message is simple:
It's safe to be yourself. You are whole.
You are part of the Divine, like a single wave belonging to the ocean.
Your journey is about remembering who you have always been.
Beyond her work, Liat is a mother of three amazing souls, a grandmother to Atlas, and has been married to her husband, David, for more than thirty years. Family, love, and the relationships that shape us remain at the heart of her life.
This is Liat's journey of awakening.
This is KOL·YA.
